The Child Support Office may have money on deposit from payments that were originally processed by our office for individuals whose addresses are either outdated or missing. To determine if a name is among those having funds in this account, please view the following list. If your name appears in our listing and you wish to claim these funds, please complete the Location Verification Form and either fax to (713) 755-4359 or mail to 1115 Congress, Room 10, Houston, TX 77002.

Note: Funds received in this office, that were not able to be identified for three years, from the date of receipt are turned over (escheated), by law, to either the Comproller’s Office of the State of Texas or the Harris County Treasurer, depending on the amount. Funds over $100.00 can be retrieved by contacting the Texas State Comptroller Office, Unclaimed Money Section at 1-800-531-5441 ext. 6-6255 or 512-936-6255. Funds under $100.00 can be claimed by contacting the Harris County Treasurers Office at 713-755-5332.
