The Harris County Child Support Office through partnership with the Domestic Relation’s Office and the Attorney General’s Office has implemented the FOCAS (Focus on Collection and Services) Program. The FOCAS Program monitors the collection of child support and will contact the Non-Custodial parent when he/she falls behind in their child support. Through this program, the following services are offered as well:

• Locating Non-Custodial Parents
• Enforcing child support orders
• Enforcing medical support orders
• Reviewing and modifying child support orders
• Collecting child support through income withholding
• Collecting child support through income tax refund intercept

In addition to the services above, the Harris County Child Support Office can assist with other child support related functions including: (1) updating your address, (2) updating your name, (3) answering questions regarding your payments and/or (4) general questions about your case.
