Criminal Customer Service

Clerks in Criminal Public Service are happy to provide you with the following services:
- Provide Certificates of Disposition (also known as Criminal Background Checks)
- Provide Letters of Disposition (also known as No Record Found Certified Letters)
- Provide certified and non-certified copies of criminal case documents
- Provide guidance and support of JIMS system information available on our public terminals
- Provide Criminal case download information from the Justice Information Management System JIMS database
- File various motions, petitions and writs
- On a daily basis retrieve and file documents filed in our After-Hours Filing Box
- File Search Warrant Returns filed by law enforcement personnel issued by our Criminal Court Judges
- Accept and file subpoenas
- Process mail correspondence requests, Fax Express requests and government document requests
- Retain and provide document copies available on film
- Retain the most recently closed case files: approximately two (2) years of felony cases and three (3) years of misdemeanor cases
