The District Clerk’s Office accepts the following forms of payments:

• Cash
• All major credit cards:
  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • American Express
  • Discover
• Money orders, cashier’s checks and traveler’s checks dated within 90 days of current date
• Made payable to Harris County District Clerk,
• Checks that meet the following criteria:
  • Attorneys with a Bar Card Number^*
  • Law firms located in the United States
  • Bondsmen licensed in Texas
  • Major insurance companies and major corporations
  • Title companies located in the United States
  • Any corporation or company with a Harris County address on the check
  • Made payable to Harris County District Clerk,
  • Check Acceptance Policy in detail
