Criminal Collections

Criminal Collections sets up payment plans for specific cases as ordered by the District Criminal Courts and the County Criminal Courts at Law. Criminal Collections works as an agent to ensure timely payment of court costs, fines, and fees.

Payments may be made online, in person or by mail. All payments must include your case number. If you do not know the case number, please include your full name and date of birth.

Personal checks are not accepted.

To make a payment:

In the blue bar at the top of the District Clerk’s homepage log in with your email and password or Click “New User” to create an account

Click “Search Our Records” in the blue boxes under the photos

Click on “Criminal” Tab

Enter your case number or defendant information

Under the Style column, click on the case you want to pay. A new page will open with several tabs.

Click on “Payment Plan” Tab

Click on the Pay now box on the left side and click on the credit card icon to pay

Scroll down to enter your credit card information and click on “Pay Now”

If customers experience any technical difficulties with the new system, they can contact the DCO Help Desk via email at DCSA@hcdistrictclerk.com. Drop Box

The drop box is currently located in the Criminal Justice Center (CJC) 1st floor on the left side of the main entrance. Only opened on weekdays from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
